Iraq is not an arena for settling scores

The Iraqi Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, said, “Iraq will not be an arena for settling scores, and pointless missiles are an attempt to impede the government’s progress and embarrass it, but our security services will reach the perpetrators and they will be brought before public opinion.”
Al-Kazemi added during the cabinet meeting, “Pre-emptive operations against terrorism are continuing and escalating to eliminate the remaining holes and hotspots of terrorism. We salute our heroic forces of all kinds, as they are linked day and night in pursuing terrorist cells,” according to what was published by the media office of the Iraqi prime minister on Twitter.

Regarding the economic situation, Al-Kazemi said: “Weak souls have been waiting for the collapse of the economic situation since October and November, but government measures have enabled Iraq to pass this difficult stage in a wise manner.”

On the outbreak of the Corona virus, Al-Kazemi commented, saying: “We value the general commitment of citizens to the health ban, and we also evaluate highly the efforts of the institutions and state agencies that contributed to its implementation. The escalation of this commitment will enable us to limit the effects of the new and more dangerous strain of the epidemic.”

In the past few weeks, attacks targeting US forces and other areas have increased, and these attacks are being carried out on an almost daily basis.
