Chief of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Major General Muhammad Bagheri
The Iranian Chief of Staff, Major General Muhammad Bagheri, confirmed that documents obtained “indicate the involvement of some regimes in the region in the assassination of the martyr General Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis.”
Today, Tuesday, Major General Bagheri added, “We will present these documents to the regimes involved in the assassination of the martyr Soleimani so that they cannot conceal their direct participation in this crime.” The Iranian Chief of Staff also affirmed that all these regimes bear responsibility for committing this crime.
Bagheri also indicated that America made itself clear “of its support for this crime, as the American bases deployed in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE and Bahrain gave them intelligence information,” stressing that “the plane took off from bases in Kuwait, Jordan and Iraq and targeted the motorcade of the martyr Soleimani.”
Bagheri pointed out that the US government “acknowledged committing this crime and at first justified its act,” but the whole world demanded evidence and the document because international laws require this, while America was unable to provide any evidence, and after a week it changed its position.
New details about the bomb that targeted Salmani
Bagheri revealed new details about the shell that was used in the assassination of the martyr Qassem Soleimani, in addition to Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, deputy commander of the Popular Mobilization Forces, at the beginning of 2020.
Bagheri said, “The shell that the American forces used in the assassination of Qassem Soleimani, Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis and their companions, was not an ordinary bomb, but a shell with which armored equipment was targeted, and it penetrated steel with a thickness of 30 centimeters.”
General Qassem Soleimani, along with the deputy head of the Popular Mobilization Authority, Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, cited an American missile strike near Baghdad International Airport.
