In the angry reactions from the people of Sarawan, videos circulating on social media platforms documented today, Tuesday, dozens of citizens from the Baloch minority in protest rallies, while some of them smashed the doors of the city’s municipality building and closed main roads.
Baloch activists revealed that the Iranian authorities in the city of Sarawan cut off the Internet and closed the main roads in the city. And this is in light of the wave of anger and protest that is controlling the people against the Revolutionary Guard Corps.
Activists reported, on social media platforms, that the number of dead people from Baluchis in Sarawan during their protest, on Monday, in front of one of the Revolutionary Guards’ bases, amounted to more than 20 people, most of them were fuel transport workers.
For his part, Muhammad Hadi Marashi, Assistant Governor of Sistan-Baluchistan for Security Affairs, confirmed that there were deaths during the Baloch vigils, on Monday, and said in press statements, “The shooting at fuel tankers in Sarawan resulted from their gathering.”
The security official accused the Baloch “Army of Justice” group opposing the Iranian regime of “inciting” the people to go out against the regime and the Revolutionary Guards, while stating that “the Pakistani border guards fired on some Baloch protesters; As a result, only one person carrying fuel was killed, “according to what was quoted by the Iranian” Ilna “news agency.
