‘No one could have stopped Iran from deciding to build a nuclear weapon’

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has said that no one could have stopped Iran from developing nuclear weapons.

He says the Zionist clique has repeatedly said “we will not allow Iran to develop nuclear weapons.” They should know that if Iran had decided to build a nuclear weapon, the Zionists would not have been able to resist even the powers that be, far from them.

Khamenei made the remarks in a speech to members of Iran’s expert council on Monday. News Irner.

At the time, he announced that his country would not deviate from its logical position on its nuclear program and would enrich uranium to 70 percent if needed.

“We are committed to achieving the country’s nuclear capabilities and therefore our uranium enrichment will not be limited to 20 but will be enriched as much as needed,” he said.

In his speech on Monday, Ayatollah Khamenei highlighted Iran’s position, saying “there are Islamic restrictions on the manufacture of weapons that can kill civilians, including nuclear and chemical weapons, and we will abide by those restrictions to the letter.”

Iran has so far enriched uranium to a maximum of 20 levels. In the nuclear deal signed in 2015, this level was set at three and a half percent. But after the United States pulled out of the deal, Iran recently resumed enrichment to 20 levels.

Nuclear weapons require 90 percent or more of uranium enrichment. Tehran has said it will not build a nuclear weapon following the noble direction of Islam.
