The Czech football club Slavia Praha would like to have 3,000 spectators in the next league match. This was announced by the chairman of the club’s board of directors Jaroslav TvrdÃk, despite the deteriorating epidemiological situation in the country.
Slavia Stadium in Eden has a capacity of 19,370 spectators, it could be filled to 15 percent. “The Minister of Health supported the continuation of the second phase of the Journey from Darkness project. There is hope that there could be 2,000 season tickets and 1,000 medics free of charge in the upcoming matches. All will undergo a PCR test as part of the match.” said TvrdÃk on the social network.
Slavia became the target of criticism when her match in the 1st round of the elimination part of the European League against Leicester was watched directly by several guests at the stadium. One of them was the adviser to the Prime Minister Andrej Babiš, Roman Prymul, who subsequently resigned.
“We are very sorry that we were able to damage the successful results of the first stage of the project by ethically inappropriate invitation of several guests. Especially because Slavia was approached for a pilot project in a situation where several organizers refused due to financial demands,” cited TvrdÃk server sport.cz.
