Montenegrin Deputy Prime Minister Dritan Abazovic thanked Chinese Ambassador to Montenegro Liu Jin for donating 30,000 doses of vaccines that the country will send to Montenegro.

China has officially approved a donation of 30,000 doses of Sinofarm’s coronavirus vaccine to Montenegro, the Government of Montenegro announced on February 18.

Today’s government statement states that Liu Jin informed Abazovic on February 19 that China would donate 30,000 doses of vaccines.

“This donation is another indicator of excellent bilateral cooperation between the two countries. This act is just an indicator of our traditionally good relations,” Jin said.

Abazovic said that this donation is proof of sincere relations between Montenegro and China.

“This donation will significantly help the Montenegrin health system in the fight against COVID 19. The Montenegrin government appreciates the empathy, selfless support and understanding of China for the citizens of Montenegro in this difficult situation. Good cooperation between Montenegro and China will continue in the future through strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries, “Abazovic said.
