In Israel they are also vaccinated at IKEA

Everyone has enlisted in Israel’s rapidly evolving vaccination campaign. The furniture and household goods sales chain IKEA could not be left out of the effort. Thus, it has opened vaccination centers in its stores throughout Israel, where anyone who wishes can be vaccinated against COVID-19.

However, it is not only IKEA that offers its services to Israeli healthcare providers. In some cases, vaccinations are carried out in open-air markets, such as Mahein Yehuda in Jerusalem, but also in the large shopping malls of many cities. Vaccinations were also carried out in bars and squares in Tel Aviv. At the same time, the Israeli authorities offered material rewards, such as free pizza, to some of those who chose to shield their health as well as that of those around them from the coronavirus. As the head of Israel’s National Emergency Management Agency (MDA), which coordinates the vaccination campaign, points out, “the goal is clear: to vaccinate all citizens. So we thought that if you do not come to us, we will come to you. We have vaccination stations which we can set up quickly wherever it is deemed appropriate “.

A different initiative implemented by the MDA, the Israeli Ministry of Health and the Manufacturers Association is the establishment of vaccination centers in large companies and factories. Multinational giants such as Nestle, Unilever and others have arranged for employees to be vaccinated in the workplace during the workday. It is no coincidence, then, that Israel has the fastest vaccination rate in the world.

Already on Sunday, some of the restrictive measures were relaxed in Tel Aviv, while hotels, swimming pools, gyms and archeological sites welcome anyone who presents a vaccination certificate or a document certifying that he has been ill. Many stores offer great discounts on those with such certificates.
