Shocking news ended a newlyweds’ wedding in Britain when the groom discovered that he had cancer.
The British newspaper “Daily Mirror” published the story of the 25-year-old groom, as he was informed hours before his wedding that he had an incurable cancer, and only an hour after it was discovered that he was infected with the emerging coronavirus “Covid-19” as well.
As newlyweds “Zach Stockford” and “Katie Davis” rush to marry, he discovered that he had an aggressive form of cancer only 60 minutes after learning he had Covid-19.
The young man had been complaining of pain in his side since September of last year, and had made several trips to his general practitioner, who initially thought he might have IBS or gallstones.
But in the end, he had a CT scan, and a “shadow” was found on his liver, and a biopsy was taken. To see if he was cancerous, it turns out that Zach was living with an aggressive form of bowel cancer that had spread to his liver and was potentially incurable.
To make matters worse, just 60 minutes before receiving the terrible diagnosis, he received an email from the NHS stating that he had tested positive for Covid-19.
This meant he would need to self-isolate with his fiancée Katie, who also contracted the virus, and his 4-year-old daughter-in-law Evelyn Hope Davis.
“We collapsed the moment we heard the news and cried, the party collapsed, and there was nothing else we could do at that point,” Katie recounts.
“He literally broke his heart,” said 24-year-old Katie. “He can no longer meet anyone, he cannot even hug his mother because we all isolate ourselves.”
