Mr. Biden vs. former President Trump: what are the polls after a month in office? | World

The average credit rating and distrust ratio that the current US president receives is 55% and 39%. The distance between these 2 numbers is +16 points.
The confidence rate of former President Donald Trump during his term varied less than that of previous presidents. But Mr. Biden is even more stable than Mr. Trump in this respect.

Former President Donald Trump seems to be occupying the “aura” of current President Joe Biden.

Since the beginning of his term up to now, the gap between the credit rating and the mistrust of Mr. Biden has only moved from +2 points. But in the first month of his presidency in 2017, Trump’s figure went from +1 or +2 points to -7 points.
The stability of the poll numbers is not a new thing for Mr. Biden, especially during the election run through 2020, the number of points he has ahead of his opponent is former President Trump according to the poll results. Most changes in survey history.

It is impossible to predict whether Mr. Biden’s credit rating will remain stable in the coming months or not. However, what he did in his election in 2020 could still be effective during his term at the White House.
So far, Biden’s credit rating is even more polarizing in terms of politics than Mr Trump. According to Gallup, the gap between the credit rating he received from Democrats and Republicans was much larger than that of previous presidents.
Mr. Biden received support from independent voters. And the number of support he received from the Democrats was significantly more positive than the zero support from the Republican party.

Perhaps most importantly, Mr. Biden did not attract the media and was judged more bored than Mr. Trump. And this in turn helps him a lot in the rankings. During the presidential campaign, Mr. Biden received less media attention than his opponent.
Since the beginning of his presidency, the number of searches on Google for Biden is only half of the number of times Mr. Trump was searched after taking office in 2017.
It is possible that the predecessor’s impeachment trial took all of Mr. Biden’s “aura”, making him less sought after. This raises a big question for Mr. Biden over the next few months: how will the presidency be seen as his own, not a counterbalance to Mr Trump.

Mr. Biden may benefit from his continued contrast with former President Trump.

Usually the campaign ends in November. But, former President Trump is a unique political figure. Despite being permanently deleted by Twitter, Mr. Trump still makes many statements and appears on television.
Mr. Biden is likely to still welcome the opposition because as in 2020, he may still benefit from continuing to contrast himself with former President Trump.
