“This is terrible, going down in history. We haven’t seen anything close to this in over 100 years, since the 1918 influenza pandemic,” said Anthony Fauci, chief medical advisor to President Joe Biden on the program. Meet The Press NBC on Sunday (21/2/2021), quoted from AFP.
The first death of a corona patient in the US occurred in February 2020, and about 3 months later it reached 100,000 deaths. New York at the time was the hardest hit.

Of the 100 million targets, he feels that it will be easy to achieve because now an average of 1.7 million vaccinations are being carried out a day.
Furthermore, Biden said he could not predict when the corona outbreak in the United States could be overcome, but 600 million doses of a vaccine sufficient for most of the population were expected to be available by the end of July.
