The 14-year-old boy once named the world’s heaviest child had to undergo surgery to remove the huge sagging skin after losing more than 100 kg.

Metro reported that Arya Permana, from Karawang, Indonesia, used to weigh 192 kg. But then the boy began to become much more active and as a result his weight dropped.

Arya’s heaviest weight is 192 kg and has had time to “struggle” to perform simple exercises like walking on the way to school or even taking a shower. Thanks to a strict diet and exercise regime along with stomach surgery, up to now, the 14-year-old boy has successfully lost 105 kg. Within 3 short years, her weight was only 83 kg, an impressive figure compared with the initial recorded index.

However, while the teenager is now able to lead a much more active life than before, he still has a lot of excess skin on his chest, stomach, back and arms. In particular, the skin on her arm makes Arya embarrassed and she will try to cover it with a long shirt.

Arya underwent the first of at least four scheduled surgeries at Hasan Sadikin Hospital in Bandung in July 2019, to reduce excess skin on her arms.
