She described being threatened with the announcement that she had a sexual relationship with him.
US Supreme Court today rejected attempt by porn actress Stormy Daniels to reactivate defamation lawsuit against former US president Donald Tramp for posting on Twitter accusing him of fraud, after she described being threatened for posting that she had sex with him.
Bringing the case to an end, the judges upheld the lower court’s decision dismissing her lawsuit.
The ninth U.S. District Court of Appeals, based in San Francisco, agreed last year with a federal judge from Los Angeles, who decided in 2018 that Trump’s remarks were not defamatory and that the first amendment to the U.S. Constitution would protect him with a guarantee of freedom of speech.
Daniels, who claims to have had sex with Trump before he became president, said that an unknown man threatened her in 2011 in the parking lot with the intention of preventing her from talking about her relationship with Trump.
