TUI: Greece at the top of the preferences of Europeans for this summer


Favorite destinations holidays of Europeans for next summer are Greece and Spain, according to TUI the largest travel group in the world.

More specifically, its island is at the top of the preferences of Europeans for this year Of Crete and Canary Islands. This comes from the group’s “Holiday Atlas-Summer 2021”, which rates TUI’s most popular holiday destinations in Europe.

TUI’s Atlas shows that Greece and Spain continue to be in high demand. Greece was already the most popular travel destination in the summer of 2020. The low infection rates by COVID-19, extensive hygiene measures and a wide variety of alternatives have contributed to the success of Greece.

In Spain, the Canary Islands are the top booking destinations. However, TUI expects an increase in bookings for Balearic Islands and Turkey in the coming weeks. This already results from the search of customers on TUI booking pages for various countries.
