Joe Biden’s nominee for head of the Office of Management and Budget, Neera Tanden, may not be approved by the Senate. There is growing resistance to this candidacy. The reasons are, among others harassing Twitter entries.

Until now, the process of approving candidates for Joe Biden’s administration has been smooth and with cross-party approval. Neery Tanden’s candidacy may be the first to be blocked by the Senate.
Against the approval of former Hillary Clinton associates, among others, moderate Republicans Mitt Romney and Susan Collins, and Democrat Joe Manchin.
“Neera Tanden has neither the experience nor the temperament to run a key government agency. Her past actions demonstrate exactly the kind of hostility with which President Biden has promised to break,” Collins said in a statement.
A Romney spokesman explicitly stated that it was “thousands of malicious tweets”.
Neera Tanden has attacked politicians of both parties on Twitter in the past, accusing them, among other things, of being racists, of “supporting child molesters”, and calling the independent senator Bernie Sanders “crazy”.
The only hope for Tanden and Joe Biden, who still supports the candidacy, is Republican Lisa Murkowski, who has yet to announce her vote on the matter.
