Halkin, the regional leader in the production and supply of precision-guided weapons, today unveiled the HAS-250 anti-ship cruise missile during the IDEX 2021 International Defense Exhibition and Conference, which is being held in the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi, between February 21-25.
The Halkin Anti-Ship Missile (HAS-250) was designed and developed in the UAE and is a surface-to-surface missile that can reach a speed of Mach 0.8 with a range exceeding 250 km. During the final arrival stage, the missile can fly toward its target at an altitude close to the sea level of less than five meters.
The HAS-250 has an engineering specification that enables it to achieve the highest levels of performance, and also uses a global satellite navigation system and inertial navigation system. To achieve high targeting accuracy, the missile is equipped with an active / passive terminal finder with a radar altimeter.
