The rate of anti-Covid vaccination has clearly dropped after the adoption of administrative schedules at vaccination stations. This Monday, February 22, 104,301 additional people received the first dose of the Covid vaccine, against more than 300,000 on Monday last week. The cumulative amount since the start of the campaign has reached 2,552,017 people.
In parallel, 10,191 people received their second dose of the Sinopharm vaccine, bringing the cumulative since Friday (date of the start of the injection of the second dose) to 23,667 people
The figures for the epidemiological situation have also fallen as they do every Monday: 108 new cases of coronavirus contamination, bringing the total to 481,263 cases, or 1,324 per 100,000 inhabitants. Over the last 24 hours, the incidence is 0.3 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
Only 4,890 tests were carried out. The positivity rate is 2.2%.
5 new deaths were recorded, bringing the total to 8,559 deaths and the case fatality rate to 1.8%.
633 new healings were announced, for a total of 465,297 healings and a remission rate of 96.7%.
The number of active cases thus drops to 7,407 cases, including 423 severe or critical cases. The occupancy rate of the intensive care beds dedicated to Covid is 13.4%. 29 new severe or critical cases have been admitted over the last 24 hours. 32 are under intubation and 252 under non-invasive ventilation.
