Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackery has given the people of the state an eight-day deadline. Addressing the people of Maharashtra in a virtual message on Sunday evening, Uddhav Thackeray said, “The cowardly situation in the state is worrisome. Of course none of us want another lockdown. The Rajasthan government has imposed a curfew in Jodhpur till March 21 to bring the Corona situation under control. On the other hand, night curfew will be imposed in four cities of Gujarat, Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara and Rajkot to curb corona. The curfew will continue from midnight to 6 am from February 17 to February 28. Earlier, the night curfew was from 11pm to 8am the next day. The move is aimed at reducing the number of corona cases in the state. It has been observed that as a result of night curfew, the rate of corona infection has decreased in Ahmedabad and Vadodara.
