More than 100,000 cases and 1,660 deaths


Her Ministry of Health Of Albania announced yesterday Sunday that the previous 24 hours have been confirmed 1,184 cases of SARS-CoV-2, while others 13 patients with COVID-19 succumbed.

Up to this stage the account of the pandemic of the young coronavirus in the Balkan country has reached them 1,666 deaths on the whole 100,246 infections, according to official figures.

The milestone of one hundred thousand cases was recorded on the day the health authorities began vaccination elderly in the capital, the Tirana.

The first 24 people who were vaccinated were prominent figures in politics and art over the age of 80.
