Coronavirus epidemic (COVID-19) 20094
According to published research results, the first of the current two doses of the RNA-based vaccine provides 92.6% efficacy against the virus. After the second dose, the percentage increased negligibly slightly – 94.8%.
As a result of the discovery, study participants Danuta Skovronski and Gaston De Serres have recommended that governments around the world cancel the second dose, at least until the main risk groups receive the first.
In response to the study, Pfizer succinctly replied that the health authorities in the respective country decided whether to administer two or only one vaccine from their preparation, developed jointly with Biontech.
