The Polish authorities plan to introduce a requirement for a negative test for coronavirus when entering the country at all borders next week. This was announced on Monday, February 22, by the Minister of Health of the Republic Adam Nedzelsky on TVN24.
“We are thinking of doing it this week. We want to refine the rules, the details, the services must be prepared, because it will mean a return to the activities of border guards,” he said.
“Border guards say it needs at least 48 hours to be operational at selected border crossings. Therefore, I think it will happen by the end of the week,” the minister said, noting that the test will be tested in both the west and the west. southern borders of the republic.
According to him, in the absence of a test, a citizen entering the republic will go to 10-day isolation.
However, quarantine will exempt those who have already been vaccinated against coronavirus, and a number of professional categories: diplomats, fishermen, sailors, truck drivers, doctors, as well as students and participants in sporting events.
