The demonstrations for the celebration of the second anniversary of Hirak began this Monday, February 22 in Bouira where a crowd is currently marching in the city center, chanting the usual slogans. According to videos shared on social networks, the demonstration is taking place in peace.
In Bejaia, the demonstration also began, with a rally in front of the Taous Amrouche culture house, according to the Bejaia page, be the observer.
Marches and gatherings in other wilayas such as Tizi Ouzou, Constantine, Tlemcen, Mila, Annaba, Sidi Bel Abbes and Oran are currently taking place.
In Algiers, an impressive police force was deployed in the early hours of the morning in the city center. From the top of rue Didouche to the Grande-Poste, vehicles of the security forces including cellular vans are parked.
Many motorists have complained on social networks of the difficulties they encountered in accessing the capital from the east of the country, in particular, due to the filter dams installed by the security forces at Dar el Beida and Lakhdaria.

Algerians are celebrating this Monday, February 22 the second anniversary of the outbreak of Hirak, which ended twenty years of reign of deposed President Abdelaziz Bouteflika.
