According to the latest data from the Government, 1,230,836 vaccinations against coronavirus and 428,202 revaccinations have been carried out in Serbia. Our country is the second in Europe, after Great Britain, in terms of the number of vaccinations per million inhabitants, and the first in Europe in terms of the number of revaccinations per million inhabitants.
Brnabieva told Happy TV that “no country talks about prices, not even the EU that negotiates collectively”, which is why she cannot say how much Serbia has been affected by the procurement of coronavirus vaccines.
She said that “incredible ways to procure vaccines”, as well as that the personal friendship and ties of Serbian President Aleksandar Vui are crucial “for Serbia to receive vaccines.
She stated that Serbia has so far signed contracts for 12,332,200 doses of coronavirus vaccines, and that 1,970,220 vaccines have arrived so far, and added that the state’s goal is to provide every Serbian citizen with two doses of coronavirus vaccine.
According to her, Serbia is the only country in the world that managed to buy vaccines and get them from the Chinese Sinofarm “without participating in the third phase of the study clinic”.
