Vaccination in Serbia began on December 24
Over 1.2 million people have already been vaccinated in the country. Vaccinated with Pfizer, Sputnik V and the Chinese vaccine.
Another batch of Sputnik V coronavirus drug was delivered to Serbia from Russia. All ordered vaccines will be fully delivered at the end of March – the first half of April, the Minister of Innovation and Technological Development of Serbia Nenad Popovic said, writes TASS.
“Serbia and further is the only country in Europe for which the Russian authorities have approved the supply of a significant amount of vaccines, this indicates the attitude of Russians towards their Serbian brothers,” Popovich said.
He added that the Sputnik V vaccines ordered by Serbia “will be fully delivered at the end of March – the first half of April.”
It is known that to date, 1.23 million people have been vaccinated against COVID-19 in Serbia. In total, the country is home to seven million.
Vaccination in Serbia began on December 24 with a drug from the American company Pfizer.
On December 31, the regulator issued permission to use the Russian Sputnik V. They began to inoculate them on January 6.
