Iohannis recalls several ambassadors to the country, including George Maior and Emil Hurezeanu. Complete list of retired diplomats


The President of Romania is recalling several ambassadors to the country. Among them are George Maior and Emil Hurezeanu. The reason for which they were recalled is related to the fact that their mandates were to expire.

-Decree regarding the recall of Mr. Emilian-Horatiu Hurezeanu as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to the Federal Republic of Germany;
-Decree regarding the recall of Mr. George-Cristian Maior as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to the United States of America;
-Decree regarding the recall of Mr. Bogdan Mazuru as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to the Republic of Austria;
-Decree on the recall of Mr. Vlad Vasiliu as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to the Swiss Confederation and the Principality of Liechtenstein, residing in Bern;
-Decree regarding the recall of Mr. Ovidiu Dranga as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to the Republic of Poland;
– Decree on the recall of Mrs. Steluta Arhire as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to the Slovak Republic;
-Decree regarding the recall of Mr. Liviu-Petru Zapirtan as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to the Holy See and to the Sovereign Military Order of Malta;

-Decree regarding the recall of Mr. Adrian-Gabriel Davidoiu as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to the Kingdom of Norway;
-Decree regarding the recall of Mr. Lilian Zamfiroiu as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg;
-Decree regarding the recall of Mrs. Manuela Breazu as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to Ireland;
-Decree on recalling Mr. Dan Iancu as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to the Republic of Azerbaijan;
-Decree on the recall of Mrs. Svetlana-Tatiana Iosiper as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to Japan;
-Decree regarding the recall of Mr. Marcel Alexandru as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania in the Algerian Democratic and People’s Republic and in the Republic of Niger, residing in Algiers;
– Decree on the recall of Mr. Nicolae Comanescu as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan;
-Decree on recalling Mr. Nicusor-Daniel Tanase as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to the State of Kuwait;
– Decree on the recall of Ms. Iulia Pataki as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to the Republic of Kenya, the Republic of Uganda, the Republic of Burundi, the United Republic of Tanzania and the Republic of Rwanda, residing in Nairobi;
-Decree on the recall of Ms. Gentiana Serbu as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to the Republic of Cuba, Haiti, Jamaica, the Commonwealth of Dominica, the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis, Antigua and Barbuda, the Bahamas and Barbados, residing in Havana;
-Decree on the recall of Mr. Marius Constantin Boranescu as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to the Republic of South Africa, the Republic of Namibia, the Republic of Botswana, the Kingdom of Lesotho, the Republic of Mozambique, the Republic of Zambia, the Kingdom of Eswatini, the Republic of Seychelles, Madagascar, the Union of the Comoros and Republic of Mauritius, residing in Pretoria;
-Decree regarding the recall of Mrs. Monica-Mihaela Stirbu as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to the Republic of Chile;
-Decree regarding the recall of Mr. Stefan Mera as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to the Federal Republic of Brazil, the Republic of Suriname and the Cooperative Republic of Guyana, residing in Brasilia;
– Decree on the recall of Mr. Dan Stoenescu as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to the Republic of Tunisia;
