Avian flu can also infect humans
Avian flu is a type of flu that mainly affects birds, but can also infect humans.

The transmission of the bird flu virus from birds to humans is done by direct contact with biological fluids or by inhaling the dust of the feces of diseased birds. The authorities recommend that those preparing for travel to the affected countries avoid markets where birds are traded.
As a measure to protect yourself against bird flu is to buy poultry, eggs and poultry products only from authorized stores.
