In Colorado, USA, it was discovered that two of the fan blades rotating inside the engine were broken in an accident in which engine parts fell from a passenger plane.
The accident occurred on the 20th when engine parts fell from a United Airlines passenger plane, the Boeing 777, immediately after takeoff in Colorado.
The National Transportation Safety Board of the United States, which is investigating the cause of the accident, announced on the 21st that two of the fan blades rotating inside the engine were broken, as revealed in an early stage investigation.
This fan blade generates the force to move the aircraft forward, one near the root and the other right next to it was broken around the middle.
Also, according to the Federal Aviation Administration of the United States, this fan blade is unique to the engine of the aircraft in which the accident occurred. The Federal Aviation Administration has instructed on the 21st to strengthen inspections of aircraft equipped with the same type of engine.
