263 cases of Covid-19 were detected in Lithuania; 829 people have fallen ill in Estonia – in the world


On Sunday, 263 new cases of Covid-19 were detected in Lithuania, according to available statistics.

Last day, 6 deaths were registered in Lithuania due to Covid-19 infection. To date, the coronavir has claimed 3,178 lives, representing 1.68% of all infections.

In Lithuania, Covid-19 has been detected in a total of 194,333 people.

3010 analyzes were performed last day, thus the proportion of positive tests was 8.7%.

Currently, 179,624 people have recovered from the virus, and another 11,531 have coronavirus.

992 Covid-19 patients are currently being treated in hospitals. 95 of them are in intensive care units, 58 patients need artificial lung ventilation. Oxygen masks are used to treat 815 patients.

According to the data of the Department of Statistics, the 14-day cumulative number of infections per 100,000 population on February 22 in Lithuania is 242.9.

A total of 121,150 people have been vaccinated against Covid-19 in Lithuania, including 67,014 people who have also received a second dose of the vaccine.

Lithuania has performed a total of 2,074,241 Covid-19 examinations.

Covid-19 infection was detected in 829 people in Estonia last day.

5 deaths were registered on Sunday. In total, 540 people have died from coronavirus in Estonia, which is 0.92% of all infections.

5781 analyzes were performed last day, thus the proportion of positive tests was 12.7%.

31,443 people have recovered from Covid-19.

525 Covid-19 patients are currently being treated in hospitals. There are 41 people in the intensive care unit, 26 of whom have artificial lung ventilation.

The 14-day cumulative number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population on 22 February, as calculated by the Estonian Department of Health, is 763.07.

A total of 62,415 people have been vaccinated against Covid-19 in Estonia, including 26,375 who have received a second dose of the vaccine.

To date, Estonia has performed 895,355 Covid-19 tests.
