Rear Admiral Vyacheslav Sytnik told RT news agency that the Hayat Tahrir al Sham (HTS) militants affiliated with al-Qaeda have transported many containers of toxic chemicals to the area. area near the town of Turmanin in the northern province of Idlib, Syria.

According to RT, the warning was made just a few weeks after Russian intelligence revealed the chemical attack plan was prepared by some HTS gunmen and the armed self-defense group “White Hat” to target a town. The town is located 11km northwest of Aleppo, Syria.
